Accounts and profiles

You don’t need an account to use onelink.ninja. If you make a few lists, though, a free account is worth it. You get:

Your own profile page at onelink.ninja/@yourname, a ready-made link-in-bio page.
Custom URLs like onelink.ninja/@yourname/gear instead of a random code.
Get found. Claimed lists and your profile show up in search engines. Unclaimed lists don’t.
No secret links to look after. You edit your lists by logging in.

Signing up (no password needed)

There’s no password to come up with or forget. Type your email, we send you a magic link, you click it, and you’re in.

Sign up: pick a name, a username and an email.
Log in: just your email.

The magic link works once and expires after 10 minutes. If it gets lost, ask for a new one and use the newest email.

Usernames can be 3 to 30 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores. Your username is also your profile address, so pick one you’re happy to share.

Your link-in-bio page

Every account comes with a profile at onelink.ninja/@yourname. It shows your name, a short bio, your avatar, and whichever lists you choose to show there.

Put it in your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch or Mastodon bio and you’ll never have to edit that bio again. When you add something new, put it in a list and it shows up on your profile.

To put a list on your profile, open the list’s edit page and click Show on profile. Click Hide from profile to take it off again. The list still works at its own link, it just isn’t on your profile anymore.

Add your bio and avatar in settings. If you skip the avatar, we use your Gravatar.

Custom URLs

On a list you own, you can swap the random code for a name you choose:

Set it under Custom URL on the list’s edit page. The original link keeps working and sends visitors to the new one, so nothing you’ve already shared breaks.

Tip

Once you’ve shared a custom URL, try not to change it. If you change or remove it later, the old custom URL stops working. The original random link always works.

Claiming a list you made without an account

Made a list before you had an account? You can still claim it:

Open the list with your secret edit link.
Click Claim this page.
Log in or sign up. You’ll come straight back to finish the claim.

The list is now yours, and the secret edit link stops working (here’s why). From now on, search engines can find it too (more on that). A list can only be claimed once. If someone else claimed it first, it stays theirs.

Lists you create while logged in belong to you from the start. You don’t have to claim them.

Managing your account

Your lists: every list you own, all in one place.
Settings: change your name, username, bio, avatar and email.

Changing your email address is a two-step process. First, we email your current address to make sure the change is really you. Then we confirm the new address. That way, nobody can move your account to their own inbox just by getting into your browser.
