Let your AI make the list

You don’t even have to make the list yourself. Just tell your AI assistant:

Make me a onelink.ninja list of the five best beginner climbing shoes, and give me the link.

A few seconds later you have a real, shareable list. There’s no API key to copy around, and usually nothing to install. Just mention onelink.ninja and your assistant does the rest.

Why it just works

onelink.ninja was built so AI assistants can use it on their own. When your assistant visits the site, it finds a short guide written for it (llms.txt) that explains how to create, read and edit lists. It doesn’t need an account or a key, so it can get started straight away.

It works with any assistant or agent that can browse the web and make web requests, like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or your own scripts.

Things to ask for

  • “Turn the links from this conversation into a onelink.ninja list.”
  • “Find three good recipes for a vegan lasagne and put them on a onelink.ninja list.”
  • “Make a onelink.ninja list of every tool we used in this project, with a one-line note for each.”
  • “Here are my socials and my shop. Make me a link-in-bio list on onelink.ninja.”
  • “Read this list and summarise it for me: onelink.ninja/l/Q20d9AsqNh”

That last one works too. Your assistant can read any list, and every list has a plain-text version that’s quick for it to read.

Get both links back

When your assistant creates a list, it gets two links, just like you do when you make one yourself:

  • the share link, which you can post anywhere
  • the secret edit link, which lets you change the list later

Make sure your assistant gives you both. If it only gives you the share link, ask for the edit link too. Without it, nobody can change the list later (here’s why).

Tip

Want the list to be properly yours? Open the secret edit link and click Claim this page. It moves to your account, where you can show it on your profile, give it a custom URL, and let search engines find it.

Keep it going

Your assistant can keep updating the same list as long as it has the secret edit link:

  • “Add this article to my reading list.”
  • “Remove the second link and put the rest in alphabetical order.”
  • “Rename the list to ‘Summer reading 2026’.”

If your assistant can’t reach onelink.ninja

Some assistants aren’t allowed to call websites you haven’t opened first. Two fixes:

  • Add onelink.ninja as a connector. It takes a minute, and then your assistant can make lists in one step. See Connect your AI assistant.
  • Ask for a prefill link. Your assistant writes a link that opens the new-list form already filled in. Check it, then click Publish list. Nothing is saved until you do.

Building your own agent or tool? Everything it needs is in the API overview.
